OLED iPad Pros, MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs to Launch soon.

Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Technology Research Company, said that Apple will announce OLED MacBook Pro and OLED MacBook Air in the next three years after producing the iPad Pro model with the word OLED.

Jeff Pu said Apple plans to update its 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with OLED displays in 2026, according to research firm Display Supply Chain.

Jeff Pu also reiterated the general announcement that Apple aims to sell 10 million units in the first year and that the new generation 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models, which will also have OLED displays, will be released in 2024.

There are currently no Macs or iPads with OLED displays. Compared to current iPad Pro and MacBook Pro models equipped with LCD-based mini LED displays, the benefits of OLED technology include greater brightness, contrast and color, deeper blacks, improved performance for longer battery life and more. Pu also said that Apple is developing OLED displays for the MacBook Air, but needs to release the OLED MacBook Pro first.

It was previously reported that Samsung Display was developing a 13.3-inch OLED panel for the upcoming MacBook Air model, while Apple was planning to replace many of its products with the device.
